Process

How a run goes

Four stages between a raw material arriving and a carton being loaded. Each one gates the next.

  1. Step 01

    Raw material intake

    Every raw material is tested in house before it is used. Corn starch for colour, polymer for plastics.

  2. Step 02

    Blending and moulding

    Colour blending on dedicated lines. Injection moulding for solid parts, blow moulding for hollow ones.

  3. Step 03

    In-production control

    Multiple checks during the run rather than one at the end, so a bad batch is caught while it is still a batch.

  4. Step 04

    Packing and despatch

    Retail and bulk packing, carton configuration to the buyer's plan, loading supervised on site.

Quality control

Tested through the shift, not once at the end

Finished guns are fired against the board before they are packed. Raw material is tested at intake, the run is checked while it is still running, and a batch that fails is caught while it is still a batch rather than after it is a container.

Two moulding types

Solid and hollow, one site

At Faridabad: injection moulding for solid parts, blow moulding for reservoirs and shells, then assembly, function testing and packing. Doing both under one roof is what lets a design with a large tank and a fine mechanism be made as one product rather than sourced in halves.
